How to place an ad
You must register to be able to place an ad on this site. It is a simple, once only process which asks only for your name, the state you live in and your email address. It is important to use a valid email address so that people can contact you from the ‘Contact Seller’ link.
Once you have registered you can login with your username and password. A new menu will appear to you with a link in the top menu bar to place an ad.
To place an ad click on the ‘Place an ad’ link on the top menu bar.
Click on the category where you wish to place an ad.
Choose the length of time you would like your ad to run.
Enter the title of your ad.
Enter your location. (State)
Write the content of your ad in the text box
Tip: You can type your ad directly into the text box or type it out in your text editor, for example Word or Notepad and then copy and paste it into the text box.
Click on submit. You will then be taken to a page that gives you the option of adding a picture if you wish to. If you do not wish to add a photo click on ‘Enter no images for my classified ad’
If you wish to add a picture you have two choices.
- You can paste in the URL of an image location. For example http://www.mywebsite.com/mypicture.jpg
- You can browse your computer for a photo and upload it from there.
After browsing for your photo and selecting it click on ‘Enter Image Information”
You will then be taken to another screen to approve your ad. If all is OK scroll down and click on ‘Submit your ad’
If you wish to edit your ad click on one of the edit buttons.
Size of photos
Large photos will be rejected. The maximum file size is 200kb. Digital cameras take photos that are large in file size. You must reduce the file size of your photos to under 200kb. You can resize your photos in many graphics programs or online.

How to edit or remove your ad once you have placed it.
Click on ‘My active ads’ on the menu bar. Your ads will be shown giving you the option to edit or remove them
Don't forget you can always edit your ad at any time if you make a mistake by going to 'My Active Ads'
