Well there are 3 happy people in this house ..and I use the word people lightly! ..I am covered in furry people all day ..they are rapt ..I am not ...Why?? Because I broke my ankle 2 weeks ago and was in hospital waiting my surgery. The cats were left alone to fend for themselves not because I didn't TRY to get them to the kennels but because they refused to be found when my friend came to get them ..on three seperate occassions ..
So I got home ..in plaster ,in a wheelchair and got mobbed ...they are sooo pleased ..I am unable to sit on my own ...aint love grand???
So I am sulking and trying NOT to run over tails.. they are following me from bed to lounge to spare bed ...lol...and I have 6 more weeks minumum to go ...sigh ....

Bronnie ..who fell down a teeny step to break both bones and dislocate her foot .... k.gif

Ouch!!! That sounds painful - at least your furries didn't trip you up....or did they......lol......cheeky little monkeys hiding like that but it must be lovely to have them sooooo concerned for you.

Hope the 6 weeks goes quickly and as comfortably as possible.

Nuh Heather ,I managed to fall over all by myself ...no cats involved....easy as.....
It is funny ..yesterday my friend came over to check on me ..all the cats came to talk to her ..Fleabs tried to climb in her handbag ..totally friendly ....she was unimpressed!! ....And they are very pleased to see the cleaner from home care, even WITH the vaccuum cleaner...
It was just the THOUGHT of the kennels I guess ...lol
At least I have lots of company...hee hee....

Bronnie.....still bored!!!

OUCH, you sure did a good job of it , didn't you. But how lucky you are to have your babies to keep you company. All 4 of my 2 legged children are now off at school(now that was traumatic) and i have been left at home all alone for the first time in 13 years. And do you think that my normally" in your face " 4 legged children want a bar of me? NO. I think they are so used to sleeping the day away waiting for the kids to come home that they just wont play with me x.gif . maybe i need a new baby, but tell my hubby!!! t.gif

Hello Bronnie,

You must have spent the time away from you cats worrying about them.No wonder they did not want to go into care they were no doubt having having parties inviting all their friends over.I am so glad you have Nurse Fleabag and his assistants to care for you, giving them cuddles is a great comfort.Perhaps you could start that children's book "The Adventures of Fleabag" to help you while you are confined to barracks.I know the feeling well following three spinal fusions very frustrating having to depend on people to drive you around.I did sneak out and drove down to the shops unfortunately I was spotted by my nephew who happens to be a Police Sgt. he threatened to take my car keys away.Last surgery I made sure my surgeon gave me the okay to drive as soon as I felt like it, so did not get nagged too much by the family.I was more careful not to get caught.

Relax!!! let your four legged carers look after you, plus plenty of nice chocolates to munch on absolutely low calorie, non fattening.Hope you feel better soon.

Elaine and Alex Siamese

Tee hee ..I DO have my fat free lo cal choccies ...and constant supervision by the furries ...
I don't envy you the fusions at all ..I'm finding THIS annoying enough ...
I cant wait to get a cast I can drive in ..it is my right foot ..and I drive a manual of course ...I'll need to be sneaky too ...lol

I do like the fact that the cats are smoochy....

Bronnie
