Lovely Kittens.... Are they Ragdolls or Siberians tho?
They look alot like my Ragdoll babies, so I am a little confused to be honest! lol

I wondered the same thing, perhaps the Neva Masquerade outcrosses to Ragdolls?

Trying to upload a picture first time...
...and can't make it work, sorry, too complicated :(

But if you click on the links you'll see them. Above is one of my kittens, and below are several young adults (the one on the very left is mine and the Champion father of the kitten above) - all purebred Birmans which, surprisingly, look quite similar to the Sibirian breed. Please note that I am a complete beginner in photography. It will take certainly years until I'll be able to make pictures in such a remarkable quality as the original poster! The one above was taken by myself, the one below by my stud's breeder.

CF you seem to be alot of talk as to what YOU beleive should be done in Australia.

What DO you do to HELP the cat-fancy in Australia??
Are you active in a Registering body on committee?
Do you actively go to shows and BE a worker?

Or are you one of the many that whinge and bitch about the way things SHOULD be and never DO anything?? Cause this is how it comes across to me with your posts.

Terri-Ann, if you have personal questions to me you can always send me a private message. That would be more appropriate than publishing them here. You know my name and contact details now, as I have sent them to you in a personal message recently. I will answer this one personal question here, but this is the last one of this (aggressive) kind I'll answer here, on a public forum, particularly as it is COMPLETELY OFF TOPIC:

If you live a day's trip away from the next city with cat clubs and cat shows it is not really easy to participate in club activities and to attend regular meetings. Particularly not if you have to pay a pet sitter for those days and if you are travelling with a little child. Nevertheless, I DID attend several cat shows with my cats, despite of the huge effort and travel costs involved, but I didn't particularly like the way they are done here in Australia. I am not sure whether I will attend any more. Probably not, although several of my cats would certainly deserve Champion titles or have their existing ones upgraded. However, I used to be very active with my breeders' club in Germany, co-organised shows in my home town, was the treasurer of my club for a while, and attended close to one hundred shows all over Europe. But that's long ago.

By the way, the cat breeders' association which I have joined has never even invited me to any meeting. There is not even an annual general assembly to which all members would be invited and given the opportunity to suggest and vote on changes. There is not even a newsletter or some other sort of regular information or communication sent out to members. Is that different in your club or association?

Yes, I believe a look across the borders would very much benefit the Australian cat breeding world.

CF- himalayans are pointed persian, so have the smooshy face of a persian, so no mistaking them for any of the other breeds, totally different body shape, head shape and coat length and texture to a ragdoll, birman or Siberian. Agree though with the others that the kittens don't look a lot like the Siberian kittens I ahve see from a couple of the breeders here at shows.
