[Genghis]

A cat died and went to Heaven. God met her at the gates and said, 'You have been a good cat all these years. Anything you want is yours for the asking.'

The cat thought for a minute and then said, 'All my life I lived on a farm and slept on hard wooden floors. I would like a real fluffy pillow to sleep on.'

God said, 'Say no more.' Instantly the cat had a huge fluffy pillow.

A few days later, six mice were killed in an accident and they all went to Heaven together. God met the mice at the gates with the same offer that He made to the cat.

The mice said, 'Well, we have had to run all of our lives: from cats, dogs, and even people with brooms! If we could just have some little roller skates, we would not have to run again.'

God answered, 'It is done.' All the mice had beautiful little roller skates.

About a week later, God decided to check on the cat. He found her sound asleep on her fluffy pillow. God gently awakened the cat and asked, 'Is everything okay? How have you been doing? Are you happy?'

The cat replied, 'Oh, it is WONDERFUL I have never been so happy in my life. The pillow is so fluffy, and those little Meals on Wheels you have been sending over are delicious!'

Very naughtie but also cute....lol....the Indian cats that I have adopted here would love both the pillows and the meals on wheels...at present they have to work jolly hard for their lunch...

:hh: I LOVE THIS JOKE!!!! HELLO, MY NAME IS KATHY. I JUST FOUND THIS SITE AND AM NOT REALLY SURE HOW TO DO THINGS , SO REPLYING TO YOUR JOKE WILL GET ME STARTED. I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU COULD TELL ME WHAT YOUR THOUGHTS ARE..... MY CAT, SKITTLES, HAS THE WORST BREATH EVER. HE DROOLS CONSTANTLY AND IT ACTUALLY STINKS. I HAD TAKEN SKITTLES TO THE VET AND WAS TOLD HE JUST NEEDED HIS TEETH CLEANED. BUT AT THAT TIME IT WAS JUST STINKY BREATH WITH NO DROOL. I AM VERY SCARED THAT IT COULD BE SOMETHING ELSE LIKE LEUKEMIA. I GOT HIM AS A STRAY FIVE YEARS AGO. THE TESTING FOR LEUKEMIA IS PAINFUL AND EXPENSIVE. AND I KNOW THAT IT'S BASICALLY POINTLESS, BECAUSE THERE ISN'T MUCH THAT CAN BE DONE AND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, I DON'T WANT TO KNOW. I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE AND LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR REPONSE. So, what is your question?

if you don't want him tested for feline leukaemia then don't bother. Just enjoy him and don't worry about what may or may not be ahead- cross that bridge when you come to it (or even if you come to it).
As for his breath- are we talking usual cat fishy breath or unpleasant breath (worse than a dog's breath)? I would suggest you trial some dry cat food that has the stuff to clean cats teeth- such as Whiskas do vita-bites, it makes the cat work harder and gives them healthy teeth.
