My Cyam LOVES sucking my ears - and only MY ears. When he was a baby he could not wait to get to my daughter's and my grandson's ears, when he moved to my house, I became his favourite target. I discourage him because it reallly hurts when he kneeds my neck or face while he is having a go at my ear, LOL. He knows he is not allowed to do this, but he still tries every time I nurse him - just in case. He is not pushi, when I say NO he accepts it - and tries few minutes again, than he gives up.

This time I let him do it just to take a photo, but look at his claws in my face!LOL...

Elaine, your Alex reminds me on your Alex, they both have that childish, innocent, naive facial expression. Sooooo cute. My Cy is like a big kid indeed, I love him to bits.

It is nice to see Alex being so himself again after so many painful, stressful weeks. It must feel so nice having him in your bed again cuddled up. He is such a lucky boy, every Siamese should have a home like yours, LOL. they are so delicate and such fragile souls! I admire you for all the money you paid for his health and all the love you gave him during those hard months despite your own health problems! God bless this beautiful soul and his human parents!

The door to my study must be always open if I do not want having screaming cats at the door. Tiffany is usually behind my back, Cy and Legend usually sleep on my lap. Thai prefers to sit on my books always on the desk. They never annoy me, in fact they help me to focus...I just got my assignment back yesterday, I got 80% for that big essay that carries 60% of my mark for the unit. I was wrapped! I was writing it while I was chatting on COA - whenever I lost concentration I logged to COA to relax my mind. My cats were all over me and after every paragraph I gave some pats to some of the cats. I do not know how would I even study without them.

Here it is my Cyam, I took this photo yesterday too

Lovely pics as always Marianna, Cyam obviously loves his Mum. We have to be careful here as Diesel likes to bit you on the chin when he is feeling cuddley, it is sweet but ouchy!

Marianna,

It is a joy to see Alex running around being mad and very bossy.Back cuddling in bed,!!! he never stopped that even when he was ill.I had Alex plus the collar in my arms for six weeks,he was amazing how he adapted to it and was quite relaxed. He so good when I had to do his wound care and he really got very used to being hand fed.It was a labour of love at lot of money but worth every cent. I could not let him suffer or die he has a lot years of mischief ahead of him.He has regained over 700gms in weight and his fur is finally starting to re-grow around his tail and bare bottom.
He is not a big boy but full of fun, your Cy is more like my late Simon in size.Alex has such a soft silky coat it must be the Oriental in him.
Congratulations with your results, you have done well,I do not know how you manage it all.I like to keep up to date with nursing read lots of articles from my news letters but I do not really feel like doing any formal courses at the moment.I may just have to choose a new career path soon. I have ordered a demo CD of the programme you bought for your son,so I will try it when it arrives.
My boy is very quiet resting before he has his bed time game.

Take care.
Elaine.

Marianna- I love it your Cyam is so gorgeous showing you affection in such a cute way he loves ears, one of the kittens tonight was cleaning my ears so cute!!!, Bowie just loves to sleep with me with his face on top of mine and moan he does'nt suck anything but does try to clean me while he is going to sleep.

Congratulations on your exams you are doing very well what are you studying, and the photo of you, you look like I thought you would look like a gentle person.

Elaine- Alex is so handsome in his photo and I am so glad he is doing so well, putting on weight, growing his fur back and being so playful you must be so relieved.

Sharon

Doreen, I did not know Diesel would nibble you when affectionate! That is sooooo, sooooo cute! Your NFC are full of suprises, they really are adorable cats.

Elaine, it IS a pleasure watching Alex being full of life and mischief again. You had so many weeks of struggle now you cannot have enough of him. You just enjoy this adorable boy, he is obviously OK and will never look back again. You will get him a playmate too ones he is ready to accept one.
By the way, Alex is doing extremely well, he has gained a lot of weight in such a short period of time! WOW!

My Annie did not have any Orientals in her lines, she was a pure Siamese still she had the silkiest coat! Cyam's mother is an Oriental girl, but Cy does not have that silky coat Annie had. I think the coat texture does not depend on anything else but genetics.

I have done only one unit this semester, this was my last 2nd semester unit, I have two more left for next semester. I can study when my kids are OK. I had to defer last two semesters though, because my son was a handful and I could not cope with work, house, family and him plus the study. I always put my family first and everything else comes second. My son is getting significantly better now, thank God, so I hope I can continue my studies. I like mental work, I do not think I will ever stop studying.

Sharon, that's cute how your kittens like to clean your ears!!!!!!!! Awwwwww....and Bowie keeps his face on your cheek! That's such a good feeling, I know, my Missy and Ellie like to do that! I even wake up during the night because I cannot breath - one of them blocks my nose ocassionally. You sound just like Annie's breeder does when she talks about her Siamese, LOL...

Marianna

Here is a new photo of my sleek ones. Ever since Tiffany was sick and Legend and Cyam and Thai warmed her body and supported her - she curls up with them for sleep! She did that with Cy only before that! She KNOWS they are her friends and good souls, LOL. It proves something that I always keeps saying:'Trust cannot be demanded - it must be earned'...even cats know that.

How cute is that - I have a coonie who sucks her paw while she is pregnant - she stops it though when she is nursing LOL
