LOL Cherie, it's not just Felix's tummy that screams for the kisses, the whole cat is like that!!!!!!! He is such a love bug that it is impossible not kiss him all the time, and he LOVES it - never EVER gets sick of it!
Yes, you could fit one more Devon in your bed. Trust me, you could! LOL...I am not sure about your peaceful sleep though...they are soooooo cuddly in bed, one does not need a man at all...don't you agree? Marianna |

Cherie, Add a meezer to your family, then you would have to get a bigger bed. They may let you share it with them occasionally. The girls would love a wee meezer brother Elaine and Alex Siamese -------------------- ![]() |

LOL Elaine, I cannot agree more with you...I like that combination a lot. I wish my Tiffany is younger and more mobile, she would definitely keep up with the Devons' activity level...

I could so imagine me sleeping on the lounge (and puss's following ) or buying a king size bed. I am afraid I would have to go for oriental rather than Siamese. Kashy's little fur shedding doesn'r hurt my black carpet too much but any more and i shall turn into Sadie the cleaning lady! I have my heart set on a Sphynx though. Just the look of them is great. Have to check out the personalities though.

Oooooooooooooooo yeaaaa, the Orientals are beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!! But as far as I am concerned they are the same as the Siamese except for the look of them. In Orientals you have more exciting colours. I still have my two Orientals - my ex has the silver Tabby (Boy he is a stunner! AND a smoooooch) and my oldest daughter has the brown smoke Thai. I just could NOT part from these two cats and the Siamese. Thai is a real charismatic cat, I am sure!
Yea, you would love an Oriental - just choose the breeder carefully (ones you decide to have one) and you will have a wounderful experience! Marianna |

Hi Marianna,
They are devine!!! I can't believe the wrinkled fur on the chocolate baby - the wrinkles are so perfect!. My devon, Pharaoh (chocolate) is still recovering his fur slowly and is developing curls, but nothing like you beautiful baby's ones. Does you devon sleep under the doona with you? Pharaoh will come in at various times during the night and sneek under the doona and snuggle up near your tummy. Sphinx (DSH) will sleepoin the bed unless it is really cold. I went to nightshift the last 2 nights (first time in 5 weeks), and Pharaoh slept under the doona on my side of the bed - he would not curl up with my partner, he was quite content to sleep on my side alone. Is this a devon thing or is he cold???? And, just in case I didn't say it enough, your babies are beautiful!!!!!! They are just asking to be kissed. -------------------- Purrs and cuddles,

Pharao - I feel bad, but I do not know YOUR name. Do others on COA call you just by nickname or by true name? How shoudl I address you so you feel comfortable?
Thanks for nice comments on my Devons! I wish I can see your kitties! Can you show me their photos? Now, about Devons - they both love to sleep under the covers curled up near my tummy and back - it's coooool when it's cold and Darcy streches out along my back and warms me up! When it's not that cold both Felix and Darcy prefer to be in my face. Darcy use to tap me until I wake up, than I pull him in my arms and like a human child he stays with his head on the pillow and his body covered while I am holding him. Felix likes to curl into my neck. Darcy would never sleep near my daughter's boyfriend, Darcy is a very loyal and 'private' cat, extremely sensitive. He seems to be drawn a bit more towards me, while Felix has no problems loving ANYBODY who would pat, cuddle or kiss him...LOL. Marianna Pharao - I feel bad, but I do not know YOUR name. Hi Marianna,
Firstly, my name is Amanda. Secondly, there are photos of P+S now in this photo section (I have been a little busy - did it finally). Thirdly, it's great to know it's a Devon thing to cuddle under the doona. Pharaoh has been my cat only since we got him, and I am still the only person who can pick him up. It has taken nearly 4 months for him to allow my other half to pat him, and Pharaoh will now sit on his lap and cuddle. The next door neighbour is now allowed to pat Pharaoh - taken 4 months too. It's great to see him relax a bit now and be comfortable with other people (didn't really have a choice when he was sent to the cattery - but I think it was for the best). Your babies are just devine - makes me want more!!! Amanda, Pharaoh and Sphinxy -------------------- Purrs and cuddles,
Pharaoh and Sphinx |

Marianna, your devons are gorgeous and your meezer is too. I love my meezer's and agree with you with regards to orientals being extremely similar in nature. I'm looking forward to one day owning an oriental but I am a sucker for a cute meezer.

Haha, I was a sucker for meezers myself up until I got my first Oriental Thai...at that time I was in deep grief over the loss of my 9 year old seal point Siamese Annie, could not, would not take any other Siamese it was so painful...well Thai has changed everything - he is just like Annie was. It's weird, he even 'feels' like Annie felt, has the same cheeky, dorable, fanthastic personality. Thai lives at my daughter's place with his lilac point meezer friend Cyam - Annie was her cat originally, her baby, her everything, she still cries when we mention Annie. But she too sais that Thai is just like the way Annie was. Through Thai we got really addicted to the Orientals . It's only the look of the Siamese that's distinctive, otherwise they are just like the Orientals - the same beautiful temperament.
Now when I have the Devons as well - I could not choose. I guess ones I move away from this place and leave the Devons with my youngest daughter (they are her cats - they just sleep in my bed!) I will have my own Siamese, Devon and Oriental...three cats, one of each breed. I could not choose which one I like the most, LOL... Marianna ![]() |
