She is a very pretty girl....and I CAN tell you are obsessed with her. lol. She has a rather wild look about her doesn't she.....especially in the photos 3 to 6 months.

What are you going to do with her kittens when she has them? Do you have some homes lined up - they should go to new homes around 10 to 12 weeks of age and if possible desexed and vaccinated and by NSW law they must be micro-chipped.

Depends on how many she has I guess. Shes not very big at all. We will keep one and my sister is taking one also. If there are any others my local pet shop will take them.

I hope she does not have more than 2 kitties as you have two homes lined up.....the main thing is that they do not go on to re-produce themselves. Did you know that over 65,000 cats and kittens - yes that is right - over 65,000 cats and kittens get euthanased each year in Australia as unwanted.

The problem with pet shops is that they lead to impulse buying - you know the sort of thing "AWWW mum I want that cute kitty...pleeeeese" and then the kitten grows up a bit and ends up in the pound as a young cat or worse they forget to get the desexing done and more kitties that don't have homes to go too.

I am not meaning to be personal but it would be so much better if you arranged their homes yourself and followed up to make sure they are desexed. Can you tell how much this problem distresses me....lol. anyway I am hoping she has 2 kittens lol.

I actually thought maybe it was better to give them to a pet shop. I never really thought about it i guess.

I have tried to have a feel of her and she only has 2 lumps. But i will if there are any others i will try and find them homes and only use the pet shop as a last resort.

Thanks for the advice :)

Such a beautiful Ms Dior. Great photos of her.

Re: finding homes. I was in a pet shop recently and watched these helpless little kittens scared out of their life, cuddling together as children and parents where knocking on the glass to try and get their attention. I overheard one parent to another "oh lets just get her one, then she'll leave us alone". I just wanted to go and buy the 6 kittens my self. So I guess one by one they'll go to unwanted homes. I disagree to pets being sold by Pet Shops.

I sincerely agree with Heather, if you can, please find suitable homes yourself. Your cat would want that of you. If you can't find homes then perhaps a reputable rescue home where they will get looked after.

Best wishes for Ms Dior's birth.

Joan.
