Izumi (nicknamed "Zooms") is a 4 year old fully vaccinated, desexed and micro-chipped pedigree boy in search of a new loving home environment.

We have been the proud parents of Zooms from his kitten days where he was purchased from a breeder of the Silvertails club - www.silvertails.com.au
Family tree documents and full medical history available.

Sadly we have been battling with interstate and overseas work requirements for the past year where Zooms has been cared for by short visits to the cattery and by house sitters.
Next year is looking to be the same pattern of travel.

We have come to the realisation that the best environment for his care is one of stability. We therefore seek a family who will promise to love and care for our little guy as much as we have (and have wanted to in times of being on the road).

Zooms is a real 'adventure cat'. He is extremely social with people and loves the company of other felines.
Although the breed is recommended as an indoor cat, Izumi loves exploring the garden. He is not happy if locked indoors for long periods during the day. We lock him in of a night for which he is happy sleeping at the end of the bed. He does not have nocturnal tendencies.

He is a very affectionate cat that loves to be stroked. He often lays on his back for a tummy rub and will even sleep in this position (see attached photo).
He is not a lap cat as such (unless put on your lap), but prefers to sit next to you.

We have a young son and interaction has never caused us concern. Even when our son was a sleeping baby. Izumi had no interest in the noise!
Izumi has NEVER once shown one ounce of aggression. Even when coating him in Revolution in readiness to tackle summer outdoors.

Zooms is a stunning cat for which the breed is known. Unfortunately he suffered one incident around two years ago for those concerned with appearance. He lost his tail in a fight with a possum. The tail has been neatly amputated and requires no further medical attention. It has fur covering the tip and therefore does not require suncream.
We want this to be know to the potential future parents as his new home is to be permanent.

Thanks for considering Zooms. He really is a special pussy cat with exceptional character who will soon become an integral part of your family.

Email for more photos or call to arrange a meeting with us. We live in Cremorne, NSW.

Regards,
Jason
