I have a five year old cat that I've had since she was a kitten. At the age of one she was attacked by another animal (unknown) and had to undergo some surgery. She fully recovered and is a fantastic cat. Thinking I was doing the right thing I thought it was time to bring a friend into the house for her and adopted a kitten from an animal shelter who is three months old.
My cat doesn't appear to be adjusting very well to the kitten. My cat has had complete reign of the house for five years and I'm not sure what to do to to assist them socialising.
I've had the kitten for four days.
Any suggestions?
