Hey guys, loving this new look for the cats of australia forum, but was really wondering i am sitting here right now with this and the cat-world forum up in separate screens and wondered if anyone has been doing the same thing??? LOL

Yes, I think there will be a few of us with both going at the same time. At least they are different colours!

only thing is we'll have to make sure we post replies in the right one and not get ahead of ourselves LOL

I have both windows open as well and this is how I found this site as well I am so looking forward to posting on both regularly!!

Well i must add my bit in here and say i've got both screens open too lol it is great! especially that both as two different colours!

No broadband here either stachmo. The one disadvantage of living "in the sticks". Whaaaahhhhh, I want broadband.

You need to re open your web browser so you have two screens for the internet and have one open in each ( i hope that helps you)
i am having quite alot of fun reading both, keeping me alert as i wake up in the morning LOL

I use Firefox, so have extra tabs open for sites I want

whats Firefox? I have never heard of it , but sounds like a good thing if you can have pages up like that and easily accessible

Ohhh Heather Broadband is just the best. You will wonder how you ever got by on the internet without it

It is fantastic but like others here we are still on the old dial up and quite frankly its better to have dial up than to go without all together that I couldnt do!!

And why not, i guess some people might not like CW so choose to post here or vice versa.

Well Kilana no one is forcing you to be here, but seeing as we are approaching 200 members after just a few days, i`d say that speaks for itself.

I am loving the new forum :D Visiting everyday now, well several in fact. Much easier to read than the old format and I used to wish that it had the CW forum style. My wish has come true. Yaaayyyy!!!

Not entirely correct. Cat-World is run by me & me only. Cats of Australia is run by Zoe, I just help moderate the forums.

We're different sites in our own right, Zoe runs COA how she sees fit & I run C-W how I see fit, but of course because we are friends we do sometimes put our heads together & discuss ideas for both sites :)

There are a lot of members over here from C-W, but in the years that I moderated the old Boardhost forums I did notice different people posting over there than on C-W.

Ultimately I think it's up to each & every member where they choose to post. Some will have a preference for COA, some for C-W & some on both forums. The solution is very easy, if a member doesn't think it necessary to have two similar forums then they don't have to join or post on both.

He he he Well said Julia....Kilana it is your time to use or waste - test the water in both forums and post where you feel comfortable. You will find they are quite different in content......I have always posted in both and you will find that COA - Zoe's site is definitely lively from time to time as she has always allowed heated debates and political discussions.

CW does not enter into politics or get heated generally speaking. Each has it's own speciality.

Your choice.
